Achieving these goals requires a unique team of people with a true love for seniors and a desire to grow and be the best at what we do. At Home Instead, we work towards achieving these goals, because we understand the trust families place in those who will care for their loved one.
Under the same ownership for over 13 years, we are a friendly and responsive office located in Huntsville, Alabama. Our service area includes communities in Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Jackson and Limestone counties. We offer competitive rates and will help determine payment options. We have the knowledge and experience to help you through the process of finding the appropriate CareProfessional for your loved one.
What We Do
Home Instead, in North Alabama, has a passionate desire to be your trusted source in helping your aging mother, father, grandparents or friends remain in the place they call home. We are able to provide senior home care services in the senior's home, at the hospital, in assisted living facilities or even nursing homes. Whether they need companionship, meal preparation, personal care (showering/bathing, toileting/continence care, dressing), light housekeeping, medication reminders, grocery shopping, errands, or even Alzheimer's care, Home Instead can help. We are here to assist whether you need as little as 4 hours a day or 24 hours, 7 days a week (including holidays).
Our CAREGivers
Our Human Resource Team is continuously in the community recruiting high quality individuals. We hire CareProfessionals not "sitters". They understand that they are in the home to actively provide care for your loved one. We hire those who have compassion and a true desire to assist seniors and understand the importance of allowing them to feel safe and independent while aging in the place they call home. Our CareProfessionals are chosen after undergoing an extensive background check as well as DHR, CNA registry, TB testing and drug screening. They are insured for worker"s compensation and bonded through Home Instead. Our CareProfessionals have access to a fully equipped training room located in our office and receive hands-on training alongside a registered nurse ensuring they have the skills they need to provide the best possible care. We also offer video training and on-going educational programs to enhance their skills as a CareProfessionals.
Our Support Staff
We understand the importance of a strong support team to provide communication between the CareProfessionals, senior and family. Our service coordinators strive to create the perfect match and compatibility between client and CareProfessionals. Our Quality Care Coordinators visit and monitor each client providing updates and assuring family members they are receiving the utmost care. In situations when a client has aging-related medical needs beyond our home care capabilities, we refer them to our close partners in the local health care industry.
Starting the Process
We believe that personally getting to know an elderly person's needs and expectations are crucial in developing a successful caregiving experience. Therefore, we offer a free initial assessment of your senior's needs in private. What is most important to us is developing a lasting partnership and caring relationship between a senior and their CareProfessional. To schedule an assessment we invite you to call us or stop by the office. We will be happy to provide more information, answer questions, or just chat with you about your needs or the needs of a loved one. We are located in Huntsville at 2715 Spring Gate Lane off Cecil Ashburn across from the Target Shopping Center. Our office hours are from 8:00am- 5:00pm, Monday- Friday. In addition to these hours we can be reached by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
